I just finished this little guy .He about 7" long

He was hand painted with acrylic paints

This is the first baby I have sculpted since my surgery. I used a Tutorial I bought on ebay called Sculpting a baby By J.Lynn. I have to say It was easy to follow and fun and I love the sweet baby I made from it .

She is about 81/2" She is wearing a hand made shirt and diaper

Her hair is baked in her sweet little head

She also has a cloth body and

was lightly painted

Newest sculpted baby girl 5 inches long

I have finished a new sculpt .She is 5 Inches long with a cloth body .I also made her little gowen.

She has full legs and 1/4 arms .And a head full of hair and lashes. I will be listing her soon !! I just dont know where yet . LOl. I have a monkey in the works to .Its about 7 inches long and very furry .

I also have a open eyed baby allmost finished .Its about 7 inches to.and very cute

Time is On my side

It takes time to sculpt a baby doll .lots of time .But when you finaly get to that moment Its a hppy time .

Its like the birth of a baby .what will it look like .what will it be Girl or Boy .

When I finally get to the time of adding the mohair that to me is the birth when my baby gets a look, an Identity, Then I give a name .Ive heard that after you have sculpted a while your scuplts will start looking like your family members.I hope so !!

Ok all is setteling down now. The Grand baby is almost a month old .it sure dont seem like its been a month .! But It Has!! He is such a joy to us .We adore him so very much as we do all our sweet grandbabes :)

Well its back to the grinding stone ,its time to play in clay. I feel the erge coming on me I have a need to create a new baby wow !! I was wondering when I would get my enterest back LOL

I did work off and on on a little one in between playing with the baby and other stuff like

House work and cooking and my kido who still has school .

The perfect infant head shape is not easy !!

Im on a mission to not get the perfect shaped infant head in clay .But to get as close as I can .

let me tell you its hard to get it round, let a lone infant oblong shape .

I have looked and studied every infant head ,I can get my eyes on . and its harder than it looks !

Thats why it belongs to the lord because it is perfect .

I will still go on and study and practice sculpting the infant head so I may get kind of close .

There is nothing more beautiful or well shaped than the infant head !
